1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Principera LLC (“Principera,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using Syncore, the usesyncore.com website, or a Syncore preview, you agree to these Terms and the Syncore Privacy Policy. If you use Syncore for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Product and license

Syncore is a desktop development orchestration tool. Subject to these Terms and any Microsoft Store license terms that apply to your installation, Principera grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Syncore for lawful development work. Syncore is licensed, not sold.

You may not reverse engineer Syncore except where applicable law prohibits that restriction, bypass technical or safety controls, interfere with the service, use it to distribute malware, resell access without written permission, or use it in violation of law or third-party rights.

3. AI-assisted output

Syncore can request dynamic content from generative-AI providers you select. Generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, offensive, or unsuitable. It is not professional advice and should not be treated as independently verified merely because a model produced it.

You are responsible for reviewing proposed changes, licenses, security implications, commands, tests, and verification evidence before relying on or distributing output. Syncore’s orchestration and verification features reduce risk but do not guarantee correctness, security, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

If generated content appears inappropriate, dangerous, misleading, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing, use the AI-output reporting form. Principera will review reports and take action appropriate to the concern.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for repositories, prompts, credentials, dependencies, tools, and content you supply.
  • You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to a selected provider or integration.
  • You must not submit another person’s personal information without the permission or legal basis required for that submission.
  • You must protect access tokens, API keys, accounts, and devices used with Syncore.
  • You must not use Syncore to facilitate unlawful activity, harm, harassment, exploitation, unauthorized access, or infringement.

5. External services and tools

AI providers, GitHub, package registries, source hosts, Microsoft Store, and development tools are independent services governed by their own terms. Their availability, price, retention, output, and behavior can change. Principera is not responsible for an independent service’s operation or content. You are responsible for configuring and authorizing those services.

6. Preview features, updates, and support

Private-beta and preview features may be incomplete, change materially, or be withdrawn. Do not rely on a preview as the sole system for production-critical or safety-critical work. Microsoft Store controls installation and updates for the Store build. We may modify Syncore to improve functionality, security, compliance, or reliability.

Support is available through the Syncore support page. We do not promise a particular response or resolution time unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

7. Ownership and feedback

Principera and its licensors retain all rights in Syncore, the website, documentation, trademarks, and related technology. You retain ownership of content you provide and responsibility for it. Subject to provider terms and third-party rights, Principera does not claim ownership of your repositories merely because Syncore processes them.

If you provide feedback, you grant Principera a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

8. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNCORE, THE WEBSITE, PREVIEW FEATURES, AND ASSOCIATED OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” PRINCIPERA DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PRINCIPERA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT SYNCORE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRINCIPERA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM SYNCORE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRINCIPERA’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM SYNCORE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID PRINCIPERA FOR SYNCORE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR US$100. These limitations do not apply where applicable law does not permit them.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Syncore at any time. We may suspend or terminate preview access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, product integrity, nonpayment, or a material violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute provisions—will survive.

11. General terms

These Terms and any applicable Store license terms are the entire agreement concerning Syncore unless you have a separate signed agreement with Principera. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; Principera may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of the relevant business.

We may update these Terms as Syncore evolves. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date and may be communicated through Syncore or release notes. Questions may be sent to support@principera.com.

Legal review required before Store submission. Principera should have authorized counsel confirm these Terms, including governing-law, dispute, warranty, liability, refund, and market-specific provisions, before marking the Phase 4 legal gate approved.
